Clinical Psychologist

Impulse Psychology is looking for a registered clinical psychologist to join our team!

Skills and Qualifications

-       PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
-       Licensed as a psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists
-       Background in DBT or other third-wave modalities, as well as familiarity with psychodynamic frameworks
-       Experience in the treatment of impulse-related concerns, such as disordered eating and emotion dysregulation, as well as working with high performers
-       Stellar communication and interpersonal skills

About Impulse Psychology:

Impulse Psychology is a practice specializing in the treatment of impulse-related concerns. Founded by Dr. Mallory Frayn in 2021, its mission is to show clients that impulse isn’t bad, it’s what you do with it that matters. From disordered eating to emotion dysregulation, Dr. Frayn has consulted with clients seeking to better manage their emotions, urges, cravings, and other impulses. She obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology from McGill University, completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship with Drexel University, and is currently registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. She also works as a Clinical Supervisor at the University of Calgary.
